Savannah Children’s Book Festival

I had a great time signing Sesame Street and Piggy Toes Press books during the festival at the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators table and Barnes & Noble booth! This is a very active festival under the live oak trees at Savannah's enchanting Forsyth Park.

See Robin Meade and Rick Bragg in December! The Atlanta Press Club has invited me to attend its Holiday Author Party. I'll be signing copies of some 2008-2009 books (all under the pen name Meg McLaughlin). The party, on Dec. 10, will be at the Carlos Hellenic Community Center at 2500 Clairmont Road, just off I-85. Target Stores

The Sesame Workshop "Where is the Puppy?" books (edited by P.J. Shaw) are now at Target. You can't beat a Sesame Street 8x8 for just a dollar! The books feature Elmo, Bert, Ernie and other fun Muppets, and are set in different locations around "the Street," like the firehouse, library, and playground. Vocabulary words and exercises are included in the back.
